This is what my phone looks like after deleting several voicemails. I've called them back to threaten but I've only gotten the same pre recorded bullshit.

Just call back and be like, "I want to sell your children."

How come you don't just block it?

Do you even Google Voice, bro?
I'll admit that I don't make enough calls to make good use of a Google number myself, but if you can control when you have it set to send callers to your phone, I think it might be worth a shot.

Why not phone them back and inform them that if they phone again you'll report them to the police and phone the phone company and report them for harassment and breach of the telecommunications act (or whatever the U.S. has that's similar) and that they risk losing their phone line or at the least say you'll get your lawyer involved.
Or is there a company like TPS (Telephone Preference Service) that you can register your phone number with makes cold callers legally bound not to phone?

record this as your voice mail. Robodialers will automatically remove you from their list if they get this response.

You can follow the tone with a normal voicemail greeting, as the robodialer doesn't care what follows.
